       CHRISTMAS DINNER 2007

                                                  COWES ROAD NEWPORT

The Christmas dinner was once again held at the Stag inn on the 10 December 2007, with 22 members and partners attending. members arrived for drinks at 7.30pm and took there seats in the conservatory for the dinner at 8.00pm.everybody agreed the meal was very good and the evening was a great succsess, the crackers where a great source of fun with rocket balloons that seemed to fly around followed by roars of laughter until everybody was out of breath. following the meal the table was split into four for a quiz that was supplied by Sue and Janet and after some head scratching and a bit of cheating the winning team each received a bottle of wine, this was followed by a raffle of items brought in by other members this raised forty five pounds for club funds, thanks to Colin and Janet .
