GB2SMF Shorwell Fair, 23rd June 2007. Despite early difficulties when, for some unknown reason, we were unable to attain a reasonable SWR on any band, the station recorded 91 contacts before closing at 17.00hrs. The majority of contacts were made on 40 mtrs. and pleasingly, a large proportion were made 'inter G' with 'pile-ups' often being in evidence. The latter part of the day was on 80 mtrs. and again local UK Stations were prominent. Thanks to Colin MØGUN for the report. |
