"Apart from a couple of showers the weather was kind to us this year. The flags and bunting that Larry G1EUW provided attracted lots of attention from quite a few visitors, due to this some of the visitors were busy taking photos of the overall station site.

We contacted in excess of 350 stations on HF and VHF

We used an inverted V G5RV and on Sunday p.m. during a quiet period we erected a 10m roach pole with a wire suspended from the top to a 9:1 un-un at the bottom which was earthed to the ground using a short earth wire and a tent peg. Using this we managed to a pile up of contacts until a strong wind picked up so we then used an Outback Outreach multi-band antenna for the rest of the day.

Special thanks to Peter G4BIM for towing the caravan to and from the event location at short notice.

Thanks to all the members that attended and took part in the event.
