We ended up with a total of 178 contacts, which wasn’t bad considering the contest and the technical problems we had ! We had problem with the G5RV, we found that the connection to the PL259 was arching, we think some dew from the awning had seeped in. We also tested Colin's M0GUN’s pro whip and found it to work very well, set up was done on the Friday, the only draw back was that we were set up in the shade and even though the WX was fine and sunny we were extremely cold in the shade. Report by Mark 2E0ZMB QSLs will be sent via the bureau to all stations worked. Please note that although we enjoy receiving QSL cards we do not require them. SWLs or operators requiring direct exchange should send a SAE via our club call G0BAR. with a S.A.E. direct to: Brickfields Amateur Radio Society, Newnham Road, Binstead, Nr Ryde, Isle of Wight, PO33 3TH |
