Brading Roman Villa on the Isle of Wight is one of the finest Romano-British archaeological sites in the UK. The award-winning Exhibition and Visitor Centre offers a unique insight into Roman life in Britain, from the beautifully preserved mosaic floors to the extensive collection of Roman archaeology, including coins, pottery and tools. August 2009 sees the start of Phase 2 of the first archaeological excavations of the site since 1880.
